The Amazing Digital Circus is a new dark psychological comedy series that is run by GLITCH and produced by Gooseworx. Recently they released a pilot episode on Youtube that was released on October 13, 2023. The pilot episode had gotten millions of views in less than 5 days which is quite an achievement for an animated series on Youtube. Internet fans are loving this new series!
The idea of this series is that the world is fully digitalized. People have ended up there because of putting on a mysterious headset. The people who put on the headset are now put into the digital world with their character design that resembles a toy-like figure. Most of the characters don’t remember what their real names were or anything after being put inside that world besides putting the headset on and some are stressed. One thing to note, people can turn crazy after being inside the digital world by losing their sanity and ending up being turned into a monster which is shown in the show. Dani Di Placido mentions the point of the story and characters, “Pomni and her fellow humans are trapped inside toy-like bodies and most are (understandably) riddled with anxiety;”.We are first introduced to this show by having a kid show introduction of a theme song with each character getting introduced and getting to show their personality!
The characters who are shown are Craine whose head is just teeth with eyeballs inside while wearing a ringmaster outfit, Gangle who has a theater mask as a face with ribbons as their body, Zooble is a character that is made of different shapes, Kinger is a king chess piece with a fancy robe, Jax is a purple bunny with a pink overalls, And then Ragatha who is a rag doll. Fans had gotten the idea that these characters were the way they were because it resembled who they were. Soon later, a new person has popped up. Pomni is a new character that has popped up and dressed like a jester.
This idea of a story has brought success throughout the fandom, company, and proud producer. As mentioned before, the pilot episode had gotten millions of views in less than 5 days which more than 5 days is longer than a regular animation show. This shows that the fans have loved this new series and even artists have drawn fanarts of the characters. Sakshi Rakshale tells us the views and days it got to that point, “in October 2023, the show’s pilot episode debuted on YouTube. These initial uploads gathered several millions of views apiece, with the pilot receiving nearly 4 million views in just two days.”
The series produced by Gooseworx and run by GLITCH has gotten more popular each day. The audience adores the characters, ideas, and the whole show.
