AFUHSD StemCon Logo Contest

The Agua Fria Union High School District will be holding its annual STEMcon fest. Every year one of the five high schools within the school district host the annual STEM competition. The competition is based off Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students from the different high schools in the district come together one night to display their models and research findings.

This year the school district will be awarding $200 to any student from the district that designs a logo for the contest. This will be the first year the school district has ever done such thing. Contesters can submit their creations electronically via email to the STEMcon planning committee ([email protected]) by December 7th. The winner will be announced by the committee by December 21st.

The rules for the contests are as follows:

  • Logo MUST be uniquely created by the student artist and not include

any plagiarized components

  • Logo should be camera ready and should be at least 8×10 inches.
  • Logo should have no more than 3 colors.
  • Logo should display the theme “STEMCon 8.0” prominently.
  • Logo should show the integration of STEM: Science, Technology,

Engineering and Math.

  • Logo may include symbols from each high school campus.
  • Logo may include the date: February 21, 2019
  • Logo may include the location: Canyon View HS
