Meet Faith Ogie, a 17-year-old senior at Agua Fria High School.

This is her first year doing journalism. She wanted to do it because she enjoys things like reading and writing.

Her main plan after high school is to be in the psychology field, but she is also interested in film. “I don’t  want to be confined to one career for the rest of her life,” she said. “I want to travel a lot, have more time to myself to explore more options and not limit myself.”

Two of Faith’s favorite classes are journalism and French because she both likes learning new languages and she just enjoys writing. Faith also said “senior year is very normal and stressful for me.”

In her free time she said that she “enjoys watching movies and analyzing them and trying to find the main point/meaning of the movie.” She also likes listening to or playing a good amount of music. She likes to hang out with her friends, meditate, and listen to podcasts every once in a while.

Her favorite thing to do is hanging out with her family. She also has a little sister that is a junior that also goes to Agua Fria.

She is a very family-oriented person. “My siblings are my best friends and I love them more than anything,” she said. The main thing that she and her family would do as a family is that they would mostly hang out and do things like eating out at restaurants and going to the cinema to watch movies.

She is the fifth born out of the six children. Both of Faith’s parents were born in Nigeria along with her oldest brother, while the other children, including her, were born in America. Faith was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She moved to Arizona in 2010.

Her sister also helps out with her mother and father’s business. Her brother also owns a business that helps out kids with special needs, which is the same field that her parents work in. Even though she was born in Minnesota, she was mostly raised in Arizona.

Faith wants to be able to go to any college of her choosing in the US or Japan for a good amount of options she chooses as she said. She actually applied for Northern Arizona University and got accepted.

After meeting and talking with Faith she seems like a pretty chill person. We welcome her into OwlFeed.
