The show that’s currently still in production, The Enemy Within’ has a large variety of characters, we have a magical sorcerer, a banished god, a strong genius, a jack of all trades, and a demigod from another reality. These heroes are both loved and hated across the world for their acts of heroism for the days and nights of New York. Here is a deep dive into our favorite banished god, Snapper.

Snapper, also known as Leon Moore, (but his god name is Sokudo) was born into a family with 2 factions “The Main” and “The Laborers”.  “The Laborers” family works for the “The Main” family. “The Main” family is very god-like and were gifted abilities by their ancestors. Since he was born with heterochromia, his family was worried that it was a bad omen so they banished the week-old child. He grew up with very long spiked hair (almost looking like 2014 Godzilla spikes), even reaching to his calves and covering his face. 6 years after his banishment a woman by the name of Hannah Moore (Retired assassin) found him and took care of him. She died 13 years later he was 19 years old when she died. Though he grew up to be the fastest member of the team, she helped him train his speed to his body’s limits. He also has schizophrenia (Schizophrenia is a mental disorder where you hallucinate and hear things that aren’t there) which leads him to be very erratic. He is very skilled with sniper and hand-to-hand combat. When he is having a hard time battling he tells himself things such as (You can die later, Hannah didn’t waste her time on you, Pain does not MATTER, Stay alive for Rei). He occasionally has outbursts where he laughs psychotically. His mental stability has its highs and lows. He also knows how to knit. He has an exceptionally good smell which is also the equivalent of a dog’s sense of smell. He was a natural-born tracker with the longest distance he tracked someone at 7091 miles. He can do hardcore parkour. He also has a significant other: Rei Talkason (soon to be Moore).

So that was inside the past of Leon Moore, Sokudo, and Snapper. This hero has a lot of layers, just like everyone else. No matter how strong, brave, or smart you are, we all have a backstory and a purpose. Snapper’s purpose is to stay alive for his loved ones. There needs to be more people like Snapper around the world.
