Jenna Ortega’s Movies Draw Darknesses Over Wednesday
April 20, 2023
Jenna Ortega is an American actress who has appeared in more recent movies, now that she is older and no longer a child. Jenna Ortega began her career as a child actor for small bits like playing Annie in Insidious Chapter 2. She wasn’t supposed to be taken seriously in the acting industries since most kid actors don’t end up becoming full well-known actors. Kid actors however do continue to act, but not in as important projects as they acted before. Jenna Ortega then changed that after starring in multiple movies and became a famous Netflix star with a show called “Wednesday”. This article will mostly demonstrate which movies can overtake the show Wednesday, since it is the most famous Jenna Ortega project ever. Wednesday has an 8.1/10 on IMDB and a total of %71 rotten tomatoes, which means which movie did better on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes?
One of the most, not-so-good movies she starred in was Babysitter: Killer Queen, where she plays a character known as Phoebe Atwell. This movie is understandably dumb since it combines like 2016 comedy with teenagers and spiritual demon stuff. This movie of course possibly can’t take over Wednesday, since according to IMDB it scored 5.8/10. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a %46 of rotten tomatoes, which at this time it would make since Jenna Ortega was 17 at this time. Her age does matter within these movies, because obviously, their actors want to make sure the ratings are just right for their age.
While The Babysitter: Killer Queen was released in 2020, we still need to know which movies she did in 2021. Not a lot of options for this year except for “ The Fallout” and “Yes Day”. Yes, Day also did horribly and nowhere near surpassingWednesday, probably because I have never heard of this movie. The fallout passes Wednesday with Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 93% but sadly loses with IMDB with a 7/10 score. Fallout had a 1/2 chance, which isn’t too bad, from trying to overpopulate on Wednesday. Yes Day is of course possibly never gonna past Wednesday with the ratings, since most Netflix films don’t end up doing good
We cut to the best year for Jenna Ortega’s movies, because most of these movies listed will have a 1/2 winning score, which means they can win in either IMDB or rotten tomatoes, but sadly no movie can have a full success to pass Wednesday. Scream 5 is a close one with winning the rotten tomatoes games with 76%, but sadly loses from IMDB with 6.3/10. Now the most horrific movie for Jenna Ortega to ever be in is “X”, with 94% of rotten tomatoes, but also loses to IMDB with 6.6/10. X is the goriest movie and the most adultery movie and like I said the age really does matter because Jenna Ortega was 19 at the time and trust me 17-year-old Ortega would be scared.
Now we cut to 2023 Jenna Ortega movies, where there is sadly only one movie for now until a movie called “FinestKind” releases on July 18, 2023. The one movie that is fully released is Scream 6, which is the most competitive movie against the first ever Scream. Scream 6 of course used Jenna Ortega more obviously for her famous appearance on Wednesday. They didn’t use her as much in Scream 5, since at the time she was just a normal actress, being used from time to time. Scream 6 has 77% of rotten tomatoes, which does surpass the Wednesday score, but doesn’t surpass the IMDB score with a 7.2/10 score.
