Pre-Season Basketball is the start of it all, the players this year are extremely prepared and are very confident in their abilities and capabilities. Honestly, they deserve to feel the way they do because during practice everyone tries to do their best in every possible way that they can even if they’re injured. “I hope this year we play competitively, we have a really good chance to be a good team. Not to mention we have been working hard off-season,” said Micah McCallah. If the effort is there then you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. To be successful you need to witness failure or have gone through it, you must also have a winning mindset or even better a mamba’s mindset. “I am ready for this season to start,” said Jason Mitchell, Jason, and his teammates are super excited and hyped, “Yes I’m looking forward to stepping foot on the court,” said Raul Mosqueda, they have the mindset of winners because they aren’t say anything negative at all.

During practices the players show no weaknesses and only strength, with this they will feel invincible against anything that will oppose them in the future. For example, a team that wants to win like Deer Valley High School. Even the newcomers to Agua Fria are trying their hardest to improve what they lack. They don’t know what to expect but their seniors and juniors have all been through it so they trust them and believe them to know that they will need to give it their all to demolish and dominate other teams on the court. Though on the court isn’t the only thing that they shouldn’t be worried about, grades are another thing they need to be worried about because you’re not an “Owl” if you’re not trying to improve your academic skills to accomplish your future dreams. In other words, the Agua Fria Basketball team has a bright future ahead of them this year because not only are their mentalities set right but prowess on and off the court is made clear. No one will be able to stop an immovable force of absolute man-eating athletes who want to win every single game with no losses to show their next opposing competition that they or we aren’t a force to be reckoned with.
