Spring is beginning, which means one thing: Baseball is back! Baseball is in full swing down in Florida and Arizona at all 30 Major League Baseball camps, giving guys a shot at making a great impression on the coaches to hopefully achieve their dreams of making it to the big leagues. Spring Training being back is great for all baseball fans because they can see young rising stars show their potential and be up close with them, unlike at a bigger ballpark during the regular season.
Spring Training is big because it means everyone’s favorite sport is just around the corner, and they can get ready to cheer on their favorite players and teams. Spring Training isn’t so much about winning but more or less developing your team to see what your future looks like 5 years down the road, until the current season to see where your team can end up finishing. Spring Training brings together a lot of people who aren’t big on the sport to watch just to have a good time, which ultimately grows the game of baseball, which is super beneficial to everyone involved in the system of Major League Baseball.
Spring Training only takes place in Florida and Arizona, where each team is designated a facility across those states, some even splitting a facility just to make it more accessible for fans and players. Games are going on every day during March so it is easy to catch a game and watch some already-known superstars of the league and even some possible future superstars of the league develop and get better to hopefully help their team out in the future. Baseball is “America’s Greatest Pastime,” and spring training is a wonderful part of that.
