The Masters is the biggest golf tournament of the year, and it takes place in Augusta, Georgia at Augusta National Golf Course in April. The Masters this year had a lot of ups and downs for many players and made for a really exciting week for the patrons. The winner of this tournament was Rory McIlroy, who is now the winner of all four golf majors, making him an accomplished golfer with the feat of getting the Grand Slam. The eyes weren’t on him all week, though, because of other big names in the first few days being on guys like Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele.

Another guy in particular is Bryson Dechambeau, who didn’t get a lot of TV time but played so much good golf in the first three days that he got to be in the last pairing on Sunday with the soon-to-be victor, Rory McIlroy. Sunday’s match was a big deal for the patrons because it was between a LIV Tour guy and a PGA Tour guy. Going into Sunday, Rory was leading Bryson by four shots and quickly was down to a two-shot lead due to a double bogey on the first hole. Bryson for the rest of the day blew up, having so many bogies on lots of the holes, causing him to quickly fall off the leader board and be out of contention for the all-famous green jacket.
Rory continued his dominance and reigned against all other golfers and ended up winning this tournament, taking home his first-ever green jacket, completing his career grand slam. Rory was working so hard for this for so long, and finally accomplished it after so many years, and it was the perfect story tale ending to a great week down at Augusta National Golf Club.
