You can get fries at almost any fast food restaurant, but have you ever wondered who has the best? Well, I sent out a survey to my class to find out their opinion on who has the best fries to find that answer for you.
The fast food places I put on the survey were Chick-fil-A, In-N-Out, Burger King, Cane’s, Wendy’s, Jack in the Box and Mcdonald’s. Based on a sample I took from my class Burger King came out on top with almost 35% of the class choosing them for the best fries. In tie for second place is Chick-fil-A and Wendys with 21% of the class voting for their fries. And in third place is McDonald’s with 12.5%.
The outcome of this surprised me, I truly wasn’t expecting Burger King to come out on top, their fries are pretty good but I definitely would not place them at first place. Personally, I love Chick-Fil-A fries so I would have gave it first place, It’s unbelievable to me that they were tied for second place with Wendy’s seeing as how Wendy’s doesn’t even come close to comparing to Chick-Fil-A. And I believe McDonald’s should have definitely been in first or second place. McDonald’s is just so popular and their fries are really good so that’s why I wasn’t expecting it to take third place.
The other restaurants who didn’t place in the top three didn’t surprise me at all. In last place was Cane’s with zero votes. This makes sense because they’re disgusting unless they’re drenched in Cane’s sauce. In fifth place was Jack in the Box, I don’t have much to say about these fries, they’re mediocre at best. And In-N-Out placed in fourth, in all honesty I really think they should have been in last place. Sure they claim to be “fresh” , which is nice, but if you don’t finish them in the first three seconds they taste horrible.
So, based off the sample I took from my class, Burger King has the best fries. In my personal opinion Burger King definitely deserves to be in the top three but should not have took first place, everything about Chick-Fil-A’s fries are perfect, from the waffle shape to the crispy and delicious taste, they deserve first place.
