Editors are quite important to every writing team. They review and check articles right before they are posted. Making sure they are all ready to be posted, is what Alexis Unique Rodriguez's job is. She was born in Avondale on April 22nd. Her goal is to graduate from high school with good grades. She aspires to go to college to become a nurse. However, she stated that if it is not possible for her to become a nurse she will try to become a teacher. Her motivation comes from her mother's hard work. Her mother is also her biggest supporter, she continuously tells her daughter that she can overcome any and all challenges she faces. She is just like her mother, she is a kind, lovable person, proud, smart, and a good person. She is open to trying new stuff, and finding herself while doing these same things. She found her passion for soccer and also volleyball, which became her favorite sport. Thanks to this she stated she will most likely be joining volleyball this year, finding the opportunity provided by the school fun and exciting.

For now, Alexis’ favorite time here at Agua Fria is lunch. She enjoys spending that time with her friends, having fun, and messing around. She enjoys writing as much as she enjoys sleeping. Her favorite childhood place was the lake, where she would meet up with her family and have fun. Holding tight to those precious memories, she stated that when she grows up, she will move to California where most of her family is currently living. Her favorite food is Alfredo. She loves drinking Dr.Pepperepper, and she likes the color blue. She wants to go to Universal Studios while she listens to her favorite song, “Stranger” by Jhene Aiko. She is a huge fan of movies and films specifically from DC. Her favorite superhero from this same company is Batman. Her favorite Batman movie is “The Batman” 2022. However, her overall favorite character is Tiana from Princess and the Frog, which is currently her favorite movie.  Her favorite show is The Summer I Turned Pretty. In Alexis’ own words, “It is about a girl that goes to a beach house in summer with her family for her 16th birthday, and experiences a glow-up.” She likes to watch movies and shows on Hulu. And this place is where she watches most of her favorite films.

Overall, Alexis is a great person by heart. She does what she does to and for her mother. She aspires to do great things when she grows up. With her family and friends by her side, her dreams will come true.
