Was the Nostalgia Rod Wave concert worth the night? As he would say, “Where did the day go?” The Rod Wave Nostalgia Tour celebrates the St. Petersburg native’s fourth studio album, Nostalgia, which was released on September 15th, 2023. Nostalgia is the follow-up to Rod’s chart-topping platinum-certified “Beautiful Mind” album that was released on August 12, 2022.

Rod Wave speaks on the motive behind why he named his most recent album, Nostalgia. He states, “Just cause I always remember where I was at, every interview idea, every person, every face I met, every song, every video I shot” (revolt.tv). Rod Wave explained that he never forgot where he came from, he always remembered the journey, and he didn’t let the money, the industry, the people, and music affect the destination.

The reviews behind Rod Wave’s music and lyrical pattern can be very diverse; one must truly understand and relate to the artist and his creative mind. Some people believe the artist is very emotional and isn’t their cup of tea. However, others think of him as a hero, someone that they listen to and feel understood. This is important because this helps the artist and audience connect more by being able to understand the similar emotions being felt between his fans and himself.

He became very well known back in 2019.,“Rod Wave was the top artist-songwriter overall with 10 certifications including Rags2Riches reaching double Multi-Platinum status’ (musicnusinessworldwide.com).

The Nostalgia’s Tour concert that took place at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on December 5, 2023, had approximately 18,500-19,000 people show up to see the artist Rod Wave (Rodarius Marcell Green). Therefore, Wave’s supporters showed up and showed up to see the great artist and his trip to the present and past playing his old hits and songs from his newest “Nostalgia”.
