Day by day we are getting closer to Halloween and being able to participate in one of many people’s favorite activities to do during Halloween—trick or Treating. Now many debates are going on about people’s opinions on which candy is the best and the worst and to add to that debate I’m going to give you my rating from 1-5 (best to worst) of the best and worst candies to receive on Halloween.
- In first place, is a classic, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. According to the article, The Best Halloween Candy of All Time, Super Scientifically Ranked from Trash to Tasty, Reeses peanut butter cups were the top-selling candy during Halloween time.
- In second place, is a classic, the one and only M&M’s. I don’t think I know one person who doesn’t love M&M’s and this article I read, A Definitive Ranking Of The Best (And Worst) Halloween Candy Of All Time has the same opinion.
- Third, is KitKat. Although some people may not like them (I don’t know how they’re so good, my friend Haylee agrees). They are one of those recurring candies every year and are more deserving of the middle spot.
- In fourth place are hot tamales. I honestly don’t understand why these were created, most candy is sweet or sour but these are just nasty. Most people I know don’t like these either.
- In last place is candy corn. I know candy corn is seen as one of those “Halloween” candies and more traditional for “spooky vibes” but these candies are honestly even worse than hot tamales. They taste like nothing mixed with nothing and I just don’t get how people can genuinely like them.
Well, there you have it, my best-to-worst rating of Halloween candies. At the end of the day, it’s your opinion, I may like something different than you but regardless I hope you all stay safe and have a wonderful Halloween!
