The Be a Leader organization is dedicated to make sure high school and middle school students are college prepared. Agua Fria High School currently offers Be A Leader to all 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students as an opportunity for everyone to have a college-focused mentality and to be provided a positive learning environment.

What is Be A Leader?:

The Be a Leader foundation designs programs that provide (as mentioned above) a college focused mentality and a positive learning environment. All students learn to develop their high school and college education plan (4 plus 4 plan). Be a Leader works directly with middle and high school students in inner-city schools to engage all the students in active development of their self-esteem, leadership skills and long-term preparation of the 4 plus 4 plan.

AFHS and Be a Leader:

Be a Leader is currently offered as an after-school club.

Where: The College Career Center (Library)

When: Every Tuesday after school.
