On September 1st, 2017, Agua Fria High School Student Council announced the homecoming theme at the end of the first pep rally of the school year. The theme this year is *insert drumroll sound here* “There’s No Place Like Agua Fria.”

“We’re really excited about Homecoming!” says senior student body representative Alejandra Espinoza.

Homecoming week does not only consist of the dance on Saturday night, there’s a whole week dedicated to it!

As of right now, spirit days are finalized beginning with Monday, October 16, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” On this day, freshman wear orange, sophomores wear green, juniors wear yellow, and seniors wear blue.

This follows with the theme of Wacky Day, so put on your mismatched shoes and messy hairstyles and enjoy “Twister Tuesday” on the 17th.

Match with your best friend on Wednesday the 18th, “Which Witch is Which Day,” also known as Twin Day!

Also be sure to dress like an animal on Thursday the 19th with the “Lions, Tigers, & Bears.”

The spirit wear of the school week ends with a usual “Ruby” Red Out on Friday the 20th.

Homecoming week finally comes to a close with the “Emerald City Dance” on Saturday, October 21st! Tickets are sold at A & B lunches for $10 and for $20 at the door.

More information on events and after school activities during homecoming week will soon be finalized. For more information, follow @AFHSStuCo on Twitter!
