5 simple hairstyles you should try when you know you’re going to be late for school

Kirsten.meyers6
032817-hair-masks-leadDo you have those days were you know you’re going to be late because you either stay up late for homework or you’re studying for a test? Well not to worry I’m going to give you five simple hair tricks that you can do overnight, and be ready in the morning with just a minute left to spare for your hair, these are elegant and easy.

The first will be heatless curls, these are easy and sleepable.  All you’re going to need is a bunch of socks, I know what you’re thinking, “ewww, what?” just trust me, unless all your socks are gross and nasty then you can use paper towels and a comb.

Step 1. When you get out of the shower, let it dry for 10 mins, you don’t want it to be fully dry, but you don’t want your hair soaking wet. You should have damp hair to start with this tutorial.

Step 2. Take your comb and start sectioning your hair off into four easy sections. Take your comb and start on whatever section you’d like to, and start combing out your hair to make sure there’s no tangles.

Step 3. Take your hair, and grab about an inch width of hair per each section and now you’re going to take your sock and tuck it under your section and start rolling your hair towards your scalp. Repeat this step for all your sections, make sure they’re not too tight so you can sleep comfortable. Once you wake up, take them out, ruffle your hair a bit, and then spray to your desire BOOM done.

This next hair tutorial will be heatless crimped hair I’m going to show you two ways to accomplish crimped hair. All you’re going to need will be a bunch of hair ties, bobby pins, and a comb, let’s get it started.  (consider your hair damp for all these overnight hairstyles)

Step 1. Now that you have damp hair, start by dividing your hair down to the middle, and comb out your hair one last time before you go to bed.

Step 2. Start by braiding your hair into dutch braids, or go with the classic random braids all over the place, it’s your choice, and end it off with a hair tie and go to sleep.

Step 3. When you wake up take out the braids, style to your liking then spray with your hair sprayer.

The next hair crimp tutorial will have the bobby pins and a comb. You’re going to start off with the same two steps, but instead of tying your hair off at the end, you’re going to take those braids, and put them to the opposite side of your hair strand, and sleep on it. Repeat step 3 from the other tutorial.

The next hairstyle will be for those who have really tangly hair in the morning, and just don’t want to deal with it. This is what I do sometimes, when I know I don’t want to have to deal with it in the morning, and it leaves your hair feeling soft, silky, and nice in the morning. So, all you’re going to need is conditioner, a comb, and a hair tie.

Step 1. When you go to shower, and wash your hair, you’re going to take your conditioner and use a wide tooth comb, or any comb will do, and just brush your hair. This helps a lot especially if you sleep on wet hair. You’re going to repeat this step all over your head until your hair is smooth, and  rinse your hair with lukewarm water and you’re done.

Step 2 once you get out of the shower, let your hair dry and once it’s dry you will put it up in a low ponytail. This will help to secure your hair in place, and it won’t be messy looking when you wake up in the morning and it will feel softer, and silkier than ever.

Step 3.  In the morning take out the ponytail, run your fingers through your hair and you should be good to go.

For this next hair tutorial, it’s not overnight but it is easy and helps secure your hair in place. All you’re going to need is a hair tie and a brush. You’re going to take your hair brush and brush your hair back, you’re then going to take your hair and once you pull it back, you’re going to secure it with a hair tie and wala you’re done.

Lastly, but certainly not least, we’re going to end this with just a classic ponytail because why not? When you wake up in the morning, and ain’t got time for anything you’re going to just tie your hair back however way you want because you truly don’t have time. This is always a great option and I hope you enjoyed these five cool hairstyles, happy thanksgiving!
