Anderson .Paak is hot off of his Grammy win for best rap performance which he won for the song ‘Bubblin’ and now he’s on album time. Anderson announced his newest album ‘Ventura’ which is set to come out on April 12th.

Anderson has always followed a beach city theme for his album names as they go up the coast of California. His first album that dropped in 2014 was named ‘Venice’, then came 2016’s grammy nominated ‘Malibu’, last year brought us ‘Oxnard’ which was named after his home town and he announced ‘Ventura’ as “The last wave” on his social media pages. This may be an end to his beach city theme, but it seems like there is no end in stop for his musical endeavors.

Anderson has also announced his newest tour with the Free Nationals band to start in May of this year called the “Best Teef In The Game Tour” which has some sparked some friendly argument with popular music reviewer Anthony Fantano, who has claimed that he has “the best teeth in the game” for years now and even sells Fantano merchandise that says the phrase. Anthony has even posted memes referring to this ‘beef’ with the Oxnard native and posted a video named “BEEFING WITH ANDERSON .PAAK” on his ‘Fantano’ channel on youtube.

This new tour is coming with a slew a special guests that include popular and soulful bassist and close friend of Anderson, Thundercat who is set to appear on every tour date. Earl Sweatshirt who has recently released his new album “Some Rap Songs” is performing on 13 dates. Rapper Noname who had recently released her album “Room 25” is showing up on 5 dates, Mac Demarco on 2 dates, and Jessie Reyez on 1 date.
