In the newly released Captain Marvel movie by the Marvel cinematic universe, there had been complaints and arguments by people but mostly the men. On rotten tomatoes, before the release, the movie was given a bunch bad reviews and made people around the world think it was a bad movie.
In an interview many of the fans had negative comments on the movie like “this movie is garbage forget this hero,” and, “I’m watching it, but I’m a girl and I’m not thrilled with it being a girl.”
Also there had been other negative comments about people wanting more Spiderman: Far From Home and more Avengers: Endgame material, even though both movies had a trailer released earlier this month.
Many people said that they were dissatisfied when the new woman avenger could be the “strongest avenger of them all, even of having little time of being in MCU.” Also that she was the first female character of getting a first solo movie without being in any other movies.
In an interview, actress Brie Larson said, “Many people are saying I don’t like caucasian (white) men and that is not true” Brie Larson has still been getting hate from people even when she was announced that was cast in the MCU. Hate was towards her political views to feminism up to other things as well.
Although the character Brie Larson plays in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Carol Danvers, who is really popular and powerful, and had many people waiting for its movie release. Brie Larson, on the other hand, is known as tough, influential and well known, she gets a lot of disrespect and negative energy from people for many reasons like a female being the main character in a movie.
Brie Larson said in an interview that the movie was going to be for everyone, but mainly for girls so they can be influenced to “rise and not be afraid to follow their dreams and wishes.” The movie was supposed to be free to be enjoyed by everyone and to enjoy the movie with friends and family but mainly so girls at young ages can be influenced.
Overall, Brie Larson had tried to finish all the exaggerated drama with fans and the cast, since then, the drama has been getting less cared about. People are getting over the drama, as they are getting ready to see more of the MCU in Avengers: Endgame releasing in April to see how the mad titan Thanos will be defeated with the help of Captain Marvel.
