Meet Mr. Wolfe

FullSizeRender (3)Meet Mr. Ed Wolfe! He has been a part of Agua Fria for 15 years as a P.E. coach for freshmen and adaptive special needs. He also coached varsity baseball for nine years before he resigned from that position four years ago.

He went to the University of Texas as well as Grand Canyon University. He came to Agua Fria when there was an opening for a P.E. teacher, and he was interested in seeing what our school would be like.

One of the things he most enjoys doing at Agua Fria is teaching P.E. to the special needs students. “They are ready to have fun and do anything,” Mr. Wolfe said.

One of Mr. Wolfe’s favorite memories at Agua Fria was getting to coach baseball. One particular event in baseball that he recalls was when he and his team went to state finals, with eight sophomores playing on his team. They pushed through and barely won in the 6th inning.

Some of his favorite things to do outside of school are watching and attending football games, especially Cardinals games, with his family. He also enjoys working on his backyard, so he can host parties and spend time with family and friends there.

Overall, Mr. Wolfe is very glad to be a part of the Owl community. “It’s been comfortable here since my first day,” he said. “I feel as though I can always fit in, and get along with everybody. I have been here a long time.”
