Everyone knows the halftime show is the best part of the Super Bowl. Super Bowl LVI has had the best show to have happened yet.

On February 13, 2022, the Super Bowl was held at the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California, where the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.

During halftime Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem came out to perform. This is the best lineup the Super Bowl has hosted out of all 56 games they’ve had.

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg opened the show with a performance of the song “The Next Episode.” It was followed by a snippet of “California Love” as a tribute to Tupac Shakur.

50 Cent went on to perform “In Da Club” as a surprise guest. Within the performance he replicated his music video to the song by hanging upside down for the opening.

Mary J Blige then performed her songs “Family Affair” and “No More Love.”

This was followed by Kendrick Lamar who performed “m.A.A.d. city” and “Alright” on an overview of Los Angeles as the floor. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took to social media to say “Kendrick!!!” He was completely in awe watching Kendrick perform as many of us were.

Eminmen then took the floor as the closing artists, performing some of “Forgot About Dre” and “Lose Yourself.” Which then brought all artists to the top of the stage to stand in unity and close out the show completely.

Some of us may have even made a joke about Eminem letting Dr. Dre out of his basement to perform, in reference to his song “The Real Slim Shady,” where he says “Dr. Dre’s dead, he’s locked in my basement.”

All of the ‘90s babies and some of Gen Z had a blast seeing the artists they grew up with performing for the biggest game of the season. Victor Perez, a junior here at Agua Fria, described it as legendary.

“It had rap legends in it,” Perez said. “It was very cool seeing them all in one place putting on a show.”

Many Celebrities attended the game and enjoyed the show just as much, if not more. Justin Bieber was seen dancing and singing along to Eminem’s performance.

Other Celebrities went on social media to express their love for the show. Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James went to twitter and said “OMG!!!!!!!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!! THE GREATEST HALFTIME SHOW IVE EVER SEEN!!!” We know when Lebron loves something this much it has to be that amazing.

Super Bowl LVI halftime show is going to be hard to top, if it is even toppable.
